Meet
K. Lindsay Campbell, M.Ed.

Hello! My name is Lindsay Campbell, founder of Pathways to Readiness, LLC. I established Pathways to Readiness in 2021 with the goal of providing families with resources and tools to build understanding and confidence in supporting their child’s educational journey.
Originally from Mobile, Alabama, I attended The University of Memphis and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Education K-6 degree in December 2007.  After graduation, I moved to Northern Virginia and accepted a Kindergarten long-term substitute teaching position with Loudoun County Public Schools. I was invited to continue at that school for the new school year, and taught 2nd grade there for seven years. While teaching 2nd grade, I earned my Master of Education Special Education K-12 degree from George Mason University, and graduated in May 2012.

In 2016, I transitioned to Prince William County Public Schools where I worked for five years in the Office of Special Education as a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Specialist (MTSS). MTSS is a systematic and prevention-based learning support framework that uses data-based problem solving to improve student performance. As a MTSS, I supported administration, teachers, parents, and students in multiple schools across the county in grades PreK-8 by using a continuum of research-based practices in the areas of academics, social-emotional learning, and behavior/work habits. I have supported students, families, and staff from various demographics, backgrounds, cultures, and skill-levels.

I am a licensed educator in the state of Virginia and continue to look for opportunities to build my knowledge and stay in tune with the latest teaching trends. I have certification training across many academic areas including Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory phonics, Lindamood-Bell sensory-cognitive phonics, SPIRE multi-sensory reading, Reading Mastery, Equals Math, Functional Behavior Assessments, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS), and more.

Throughout my 15 years in the public education system, I have had the privilege to meet and teach students of many diverse experiences, and I will use my practices and expertise to bring you the best educational support and services. I bring experience from both worlds as I also have two children of my own in the local public school system. I can empathize with the daily challenges you may encounter as a parent on the other side of the desk. These teaching experiences, in correlation with my degrees, trainings, and certifications, will give you confidence to trust my knowledge in conducting and analyzing assessment tools and implementing evidence-based strategies to best support your student. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, cross-stitching, and crafting. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!

Are you ready to get started?
